Cookies and website technology

Haymaker is designed to use a small, privacy-conscious technology stack.

Hosting

The website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages with HTTPS.

Source control

Website source files are managed through GitHub so changes can be reviewed, checked and deployed predictably.

Forms

The enquiry form uses server-side validation. When configured, the form sends the enquiry to Haymaker and an automatic acknowledgement to the person who submitted it. Email delivery requires secure server-side environment variables and must not expose API keys in frontend code.

Spam protection

The form includes a honeypot field and lightweight server-side rate limiting. Cloudflare Turnstile is supported and recommended before public launch. A Cloudflare edge rate-limit rule should also be configured for the enquiry endpoint before the form is promoted publicly.

Analytics

Cloudflare Web Analytics is the preferred analytics option. Haymaker should not add advertising pixels, remarketing, fingerprinting or session replay unless there is a clear reason and the privacy information is updated.

Cookies

The base website does not need marketing cookies. If future tools add cookies, this page should be updated before they go live.
